Kat DeLuna ( Kathleen Emperatriz "Kat" DeLuna born November 17, 1987 in The Bronx, New York) is an American singer of Dominican heritage. This celebrity is currently signed to Epic Records/GMB and Akon's label Konvict Muzik through which her album 9 Lives will be released. Although she was born in the Bronx, New York, Kat was raised in the Dominican Republic. Kat DeLuna returned to the US at the age of 9, where she resided in Newark, New Jersey. In was during the time spend in the Dominican Republic when she realized her potential as a singer spending a lot of her time listening to Aretha Franklin and. Her debut single , "Whine Up" featuring Elephant Man, had a huge success , and now the rising star Kat DeLuna is set to have another hit with her latest single “Run The Show” featuring Busta Rhymes.
