She was signed to RCA Records after recording "Reflection" for the film Mulan. this celebrity came to prominence following her debut album Christina Aguilera (1999), which was a critical and commercial success.Aguilera's work has earned her numerous awards including five Grammy Awards amongst eighteen nominations. She has sold 30 million albums worldwide.On October 29, 2002, after much delay, Aguilera's second full-length English album, Stripped, was released, selling more than 330,000 copies in the first week and peaking at #2 on the Billboard 200.
