Yu Hasebe was born on the 17-th of January 1986 in the Gifu Prefecture in Japan. She is a well known singer, actress and model. She was part of the music band “Dream” and “Kingyo”, played in a number of japanese movies and works as a gravure model.
She played in the movies “Chikan Otoko” (2005), “Love Psycho” (2006), “Mayonaka no Shojotachi” (2006) and “Backdancers” (2006). She also played in the TV dramas “Mahoro no Hoshi” (2005), “Karera no Umi VII: Wish on the Polestar” (2005), “Girl’s Box” (2005), “Koi Suru!? Kyaba Jo” (2006).
Her discography include a collaboration between Keitai Aika Sonogo and Gokon Aika Sonogo in 2006 and albums like “Girl's Box: Best Hits Compilation”, “Girl's Box: Best Hits Compilation Winter”, “Backdancers! Original Soundtrack, Natural, Move in I Love Yu, Dramatic Space”.
She appeared in various photobooks “ Yu & I”, “I Love Yu”, Talk to... Twelve Flowers”.
