Simona Patruleasa is a Romanian tv presenter born on the 17-th of november 1974, in Ramnicu Valcea, Romania. She attented a pedagogic highschool and at age 19 she got a job as a teacher in a village outside of the city. Although she loved her job, the fact that she had to comute everyday and the low salary forced her to look for other options. She graduated The Law School in Bucharest but she never practiced.
Pushed by her friends she applied for a job as a presenter at Realitatea TV. She was chosen from over 3000 candidates. After she got the job, the television post Antena 1 proposed her a very attractive deal, which she accepted and soon changed networks.
Here she presented the sports news and this is where she started to be a well recognized figure in Romanian media. She also played the role of attorney Antonia Iorgoman in Diverstiss, a well known Romanian comedy group, series Felix si Otilea.
Because of misundestandings with her employers from Antena 1 she quit and Kanal D offered her the position of anchorwoman.
She appeared on various Romanian magazines covers, the most well known pictorial of her being in Maxim.
She is curently married with Sabin Ivanof.
