Giorgia Palmas was born on 5 March 1982 in Cagliari, Italy. She is a model and a television personality, appearing in many Italian televisions shows.
Giorgia Palmas became famous in the year 2000 when she won Miss Italy, Miss Europe and she was the first runner-up for Miss World. She lost to Miss India Priyanka Chopra. In the year 2002, the Italian beauty queen won the television show 'Veline', and she becomes the brunette velina, next to the blonde velina, Elena Barolo. From 2002 to 2004, for two seasons she was a velina in 'Striscia la notizia' (translated as "the news slithers", founded in 1987), an Italian television show that is a parody of the daily news. She also worked for Rai 1 in the show 'I Raccomandati'. In June 2005 Giorgia Palmas was in 'CD Live Estate' on RAI 2. She made an appearance on many famous magazines covers. In February 2005 she shined in a Max Magazine topless photo shoot.
