Madonna The Debuts To New York

The career of Madonna began in New York on 1977. The same Madonna on her arrival to New York declared: “When I decided to go to New York it was before the time that I took an airplane, before the time that I took a taxi, before the time for any thing. I have arrived to New York with 37 dollars in pocket. It has been the bravest thing I had never made”.

Madonna lived in New York pouring in large economic difficulties, adapting herself to complete various intense activities, like that one of the model for painting students or photographers, which, once become famous will sell the images to “Playboy” and “Penthouse”. During this period she studied modern dance with Martha Graham. Moreover she realized numerous performances with companies of modern dance between which the “Alvin Ailey and the Walter Nicks dancers”.

On 1979 Madonna came contacted from Patrick Hernandez and she flew to Paris in order to participate like corista and dancer for the piece Born To Be Alive. During the French stay, some producers catch a glimpse the potentialities of Madonna and decide to make of a starlette from discotheque, but it stews of the atmosphere returns to New York.

During the French period Madonna participates like comprimaria and corista voice to the realization of a disc, Wild Dance hall, of the singer Eight Won Werner. The disc with sounds tecno-punk will exit in the stores single on 1993. In that period she began a loving relation with the musician Dan Gilroy, with which she created before rock band, the “Breakfast Club”. Later on it constituted other groups: “Modern Dance”, “Madonna”, “The Millionaires”. On 1980 she formed the group of the “Emmy's & The Emmies” with the drummer and fianc2ee Stephen Bray. Of that period a wide directory exists rather, than kind punk-rock, but pieces like Love Express, Bells Ringing, Drowning, Nobody's Fool, Little Boy, Take Me have not never had publication in official album.

After the breach with Bray, Madonna changed kind and began to write and to produce pieces dance that they obtained a sure reputation in the clubs of the Great Apple. In this period that a demo of Madonna and Bray, from the title it Ain't Not Big Deal, arrived to the attention of popular dj and the producer Mark Kamins, that carried the singer to the attention of the Records Sire and its owner Seymour Stein.

While, more in order to disembark the lunario that for velleità artistic, made her debut in the cinema: she recited in the film the object of desire, a thriller erotico of Stephen Jon Lewicki, for which she obtained a compensation of hardly 100 dollars. The film exited alone on 1985, to the times of the happened one of Like to Virgin, and Madonna uselessly tried to avoid of the escape.
