Hilary Swank The Private Life

Hilary Swank had married the actor Chad Lowe on the 28th September 1997: they met in 1992, on the set of "Quiet Days" in Hollywood. During the speech for wining her first Oscar, in 2000, Hilary Swank incredibly forgot to mention her husband; later on the actress used nearly every public speech in order to try to make up for to the error.

In 2005, when Hilary Swank won her second Oscar, Chad Lowe was the first person that she mentioned in her speech. However in January of the 2006 the two were separated: although in many interviews Swank had declared that she wants to make up with Lowe, in the May of the same year the two announced that they were divorcing. In the December of the 2006 Swank's agent confirmed the divorce.
