After the birth of Geri Halliwell's first daughter, in a interview she has asserted that a long pause from the musical scenes will be taken, in order to dedicate herself to the role that at the moment thinks that more important, the role of mother, and to the career of actress.

In the course of last the 2 years (during and after the pregnancy) Geri it has the inspiration to write a text on the adventures of an imaginary personage Ugenia Lavender. A series of 6 books salaries that will be published beginning from the May 2008 thanks from the publishing house Pan Macmillian; these will contain the adventures of a child of 9 years and its friends, between which there will be also a personage inspired to the former Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham, still its great friend. The six volumes will be accompanied from a sonorous, written and sung column from same Geri, and some cd-audioguida in which it will make also from narratrice. At the same time it will turn the last world with tour the world-wide one of the Spice Girls. The girls in fact have gathered for giving the goodbye to their numerous ones fans with a tour world-wide that has had place between December 2007 and February 2008.
