Anastacia Breakthrough
After 2000, the career of Anastacia is all an easy rise. She quickly obtains a record contract with the Daylight Records (controlled from the Epic and Sony) and a team of authors and producers for her first album that comes published june 2000 with the title of its first single, Not That Kind. The first single is I'm outta love, released 29 February, a single that succeeded in Europe, Asia and Oceania and drags the album near the summit in the top of a dozen of countries. Between 2000 and the 2001 exits the single others 3 Not that kind, Cowboys & kisses and Made for lovin' you.
In Australia she obtains a triple platinum disc, and all over the world she sells beyond 5,5 million copies. The enormous success opened the door of a world-wide tour. The album exit also in the 27 United States March 2001 but, although the single I'm outta love catches up the first place in classifies dance American, Anastacia will not never obtain a great success in the country where she was born, Australia. She becomes quickly, in all the rest of the world, a star thanks to her magnetic powerful voice and, to her music POP-dance and her look: simple, intellectual (door nearly always of glances at colored them for her myopia) .
On 26 November 2001 Anastacia publishes her second album Freak Of Natures, (joke of the nature), thus called also for a personal affection of the singer: it was called like this because although she was physically small she had an explosive voice. This is the album of her definitive confirmation; happened sweeping also single thanks to the Paid my dues, Why'd you lie to me, One day in your life and You'll Never Be Halo. In summer 2002 it exits the single Boom, the chosen song for the World-Cup - Japan FIFA 2002.
On the 2003 Anastacia decides to remove a part of breast when she discovers she has cancer to the left breast during a medical examination. Unfortunately she will be forced to go away from music and to face a serious x-ray that them will always be remembered by her. On 10 February she endures the operation and on May of the same year she recovers from the operation and starts recording for the Love song is to crime, the piece of the sound track of the musical film Chicago by Rob Marshall. In spite of the heavy therapy to which she has been subordinate and to the difficult times that she had, she succeeds to find the energy to compose this song: this will contribute to introduce to the world her force of mind and her great tenacity. She moved to Los Angeles where she will write her third album, entitled “Anastacia simply”, that it contains two traces in memory of the disease: Where I give belong and the Heavy on my heart. The 29 album will exit March of 2004 and very soon the summit of the international classifiche will climb selling beyond 10 million copies. These album sanction the birth of a new background that reassumes her musical kind, a mix between soul/POP/rock that the American ribatezzerà Sprock.
