Moreover, she writes and she records a song from the title it Dah goddesses dah (Sexy thing), then included in 1997 in the sound-track of Men in Black.
The song is the first professional recording of the Keys, but it never does not come distributed as a single and the contract with Columbia Records comes soon melted. However, Alicia Keys comes quickly discovered from one of the most important American producers, Clive Davis, owner of the famous label “J-Records”. Obtained the record contract, she records the songs Rock wit U and Rear view mirror, that they enter in the sound-track of the films Shaft (2000) and dottor Dolittle 2 (2001).
