Alicia Keys Unplugged 2005
On 14 July 2005, Alicia Keys hold a concert “MTV Unplugged” at the Brooklyn Music Academy and this concert will be recorded and published all over the world. In the course of the live session, she introduced new versions for some her songs as To woman's worth and Heartburn and the Was Your Woman is exhibited in some cover like “If”, than ottine one of the four nomination for the artist to the Grammy of 2006. Part of the public of Alicia was constituted also from some artists hosts, that they have sung with she: rappers the Common and Mos Def, together to which halo sings Love it or leave it; the reggae singer Damian Marley with which sings in Welcome to Jamrock and the singer of Maroon 5 Adam which Raises some with interpret Wild horses of Rolling Stones.
In the same evening they come recorded also cover of Every little a bit hurts, already sung in passed from music dive like the Queen of the Soul Aretha Franklin and Brenda Holloway and two unknown ones: Stolen moments, written in collaboration with the producer L. Green and Unbreakable, that it has been also the first single feature from the album and that receives a nomination to the Grammy. The album made it's debut to the number one of the US Billboard Top 200 Chart with 196,000 copies sold in the first week from the publication. The debut in classifies of the Unplugged of Alicia Keys has been the higher debut for a MTV Unplugged from the times of MTV Unplugged in New York of Nirvana (1994) and the first one of a feminine artist to make one's debut to number 1.
The album conquest four nomination to the Grammy Awards: “Best performance feminine vowel R&B” (Unbreakable), “Better performance vowel traditional R&B” (If the was your woman), “Best song R&B” (Unbreakable) and Better album R&B. Recently, the album also have gained three NAACP Image Awards: “Best feminine artist”, “Better song” (Unbreakable) and “Better video” (Unbreakable).
