Alicia Keys Musical Background And Family

Alicia Cook was born in Harlem (New York) her mother is of Italian-Irishes origins (the family of her grandfather emigrated from Sicily) and Afro-American father, Craig Cook, and grows up in the quarter of Hell's Kitchen in New York City. The parents separate themselves when Alicia has only 4 years, thus making her mother to grow her and to support the development of her musical talent.
