Amber Rose Tamblyn (born May 14, 1983) is an Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated American actress and poet. Amber Tamblyn came to fame on the soap opera General Hospital followed by a starring role on the television series Joan of Arcadia. She has branched out into film roles, appearing in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and The Grudge 2. She has appeared in "Live Nude Girls" and "Johnny Mysto: Boy Wizard". In addition, her most popular role has been the role of Emily Bowen-Quartermaine of the popular soap "General Hospital". She originated the role of Emily in 1995. Amber is the daughter of actor "Russ Tamblyn" and her mother, "Bonnie Tamblyn", is a singer and artist. In addition, Amber writes poetry and has been published in the San Francisco publications, Cups and Poetry USA. Amber also enjoys singing, dancing, and theater in addition to her life on "General Hospital".
